04 May Make your own V.E Day Bunting!
On Friday 8th of May it is VE Day (Victory in Europe Day).
We are marking the 75 years since the guns fell silent at the end of the war in Europe.
On this special bank holiday, we remember the enormous sacrifices that were made at home and abroad and to celebrate as people did 75 years ago, the arrival of peace in Europe.
Lots of streets are throwing ‘socially distanced’ street parties with everyone enjoying treats in their own front gardens.
